I love to talk with people real-time rather than e-mailing back
and forth, but I'll take those too.
(Contact info and helpful links are also at the bottom of all my e-mail.)

I love helping students develop their creative minds. Show me your work in progress or let me help you get started by visiting
the virtual art room with web cam or photo.
You'll get a quick critique on what you are doing well and how to improve or move forward if you're stuck. (You may e-mail art too. - just not as interactive)
Completed art
may be loaded to the school gallery through Artsonia where teacher, family and friends can see and make kind, helpful comments. You may even win thestudent artist spotlight on this website's homepage.
I've been teaching for over ten
years at various grade levels and studied art in
Europe
and
Latin America
. I am always looking for unique
ways to reach students which is probably what lead me to the virtual
edge. :-)
I have taken photo students to a hot air balloon glow at night,
had students travel with me abroad and have designed Montessori art tools for
young children.
I believe that everyone has a creative capacity and that
the development of it
will help their overall joy of learning and enrich their
lives.

We hold all virtual art sessions in the virtual art room.
Come talk with me!
(access through calendar or school email)
Logging in to the Virtual Art Room:
Please always enter with full name & grade
ex: Jane Doe-2 or John Smith (dad)
For security purposes,
times are listed in the password protected calendar area & names are blocked in class recordings.
STUDIO/Waiting room:
While appointments are encouraged, it's
ok if you enter while I am teaching. You can request the studio room
in the chat box window without interrupting class and I will come join
you after class. Minimize the classroom window and you can work on
other things while you wait.
New LVS students will recieve a password to the calendar through
Monday e-mail. The calendar shows when classtimes and workshops are
held. Once inside the calendar, there is a Virtual Art Room button for
quick access and an e-mail/send art button for your convenience.
Click the Recorded Sessions button to see how it all works.
GET ART ACTIVE!
It's good for your brain! I encourage parents to do their own art beside their children rather than just helping.
Discover and teach life-long creativity.
